So you are probably wondering just what is a Leaning Tower of Babel. In the Biblical account of the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11:1-9 man tried to work together to build toward Heaven.

And of course, everyone recognizes the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

What we get when we put them together is the discussion of whether we are working together toward the same goal of connecting people with God and whether those efforts are built on a solid foundation – or is it leaning a bit.

So who am i? It seems I’m the guy that is supposed to go in and muck about with things and help people know they need to make changes. I guess someone has to be that change agent so it might as well be me . In my work life I am a serial entrepreneur. I have lots of ideas for businesses and seem to start new ones up every year. And I am always looking for more places where people are not being served and trying to figure out how to reach them. And that’s the same thing that happens in my faith life. I see so many people not being reaching because we are not making a coordinated effort to do so. I would actually like to make a career of growing and creating “churches.” I put that in quotes because I might think of what church is differently from some. I’ll probably write more about that in a post someday.
